Mumbai: Indigo Airlines official confirmed the incident saying “IndiGo confirms offloading a passenger from flight 6E 155 enroute to Mumbai from Delhi on January 17 on safety and security grounds”.
He further added: “The passenger was in an inebriated state. He was not able to talk and was accompanied by his wife. Keeping in mind the safety of the aircraft and fellow passengers, the airline decided to offload both passengers and re-accommodate them on a flight departing the next afternoon.”
In less than a week this was the third case of a person getting dislodged from a domestic flight on the basis of disturbing behavior.
