Delhi schools to remain close during odd even scheme trial

New Delhi: Delhi government has ordered closing of schools in the national capital for 15 days from 1st of January, 2016 in view of the implementation of odd and even scheme for private cars.

The scheme is being implemented in the national capital on trial basis from 1st to 15th of January.

According to the Directorate of Education, all government schools and un-aided recognized private schools have been asked to declare holidays during the period of trial.

Besides, the city government has also decided to obtain the services of school buses for the requirement of Delhi Transport Corporation at notified rates to augment the public transport facility. (ANI)
