Lucknow: UP’s Cabinet minister and Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan on Sunday sparked a controversy by saying that Taj Mahal should be demolished and Shiva Temple be constructed on it.
According to a report published in News18, Azam Khan, apparently taking a dig at Shiv Sena, said that if Shiv Sena demolishes Taj Mahal to build Shiva Temple on it, then he also will offer help by shoveling.
The controversial remarks by Azam Khan came on the 23rd anniversary of Babri Masjid’s demolition.
He also demanded for a ban on RSS calling it a terror outfit.
