Deputy Cheif Minister Inuagurated New OP Block

Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali on Monday laid the foundation stone for the renovation and repairs of Out-patient and Pathology Lab in the Government Nizamia Tibbi Hospital at Charminar. Speaking on the occasion, Mahmood Ali said that the Telangana Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, was committed to the revival of ancient and beneficial medical practice of Unani. He said that the Out-patient and Pathology lab would be renovated with an estimated cost of Rs.80 lakhs in a plinth area of 8,000 sft which will be completed in a year. All necessary steps will be taken for the revival and upliftment of Unani Medicine. He attributed the present status of neglect in Unani Medicine to the former governments which did not take proper measures at crucial times. (Photo: Zabi)
