Dhoni’s last innings as captain goes in vain as England defeat India A by 3 wickets

Mumbai: England defeated India A on Wednesday by three wickets in their first warm-up match ahead of the one day and twenty 20 series.

It was last game for Mahendra Singh Dhoni as captain and he scored a quick half century but it goes in vain as India lost to visitors.

Earlier in the day, Ambati Rayudu belligerent’s century, Mahendra Singh Dhoni quickfire 68 and Yuvraj Singh scintillating half-century powered India A to an imposing 304 for 4.

Another comeback man Shikhar Dhawan hit 63 off 84 balls while left-arm seamer David Willey took 2 for 55.

England scored 307/7 in 48.5 overs with Sam Billings getting 93 runs whle Jason Roy got to a modest 62 runs. Kuldeep yadav for india picked up five wickets for 60 runs.
