Diggy slams Centre for holding back KVP’s pvt bill

AICC general secretary in-charge of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states Congress party affairs Digvijay Singh has lashed out at the BJP government at Centre alleging that the Centre was hatching a conspiracy to see that the Congress MP KVP Ramachander Rao’s private bill not to be tabled.

Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Digvijay said that the Centre was trying to postpone the Rajya Sabha to see that the discussion not to be held on private bill. Reminding the decision taken by the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s Cabinet on special status to Andhra Pradesh state, Digvijay made it clear that there was no need to make a special act on it.

It may be recalled that the Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramachander Rao moved a private bill to take up a discussion on special status to Andhra Pradesh state. (NSS)
