Disney’s first Latina princess to make debut this month

Washington : Get ready to see Disney’s first Latina princess this month.

Disney has announced that the one-hour special premiere event, which will be held on July 22, will introduce the story of Princess Elena, who will be brought to life by the voice of actress Aimee Carrero, E! Online reports.

The show, which will incorporate the influences from diverse Latino cultures through various displays of architecture, tradition, food, customs and even music, is expected to feature the voices of Ana Ortiz, Constance Marie, Jamie Camil, Jenna Ortega as Elena’s little sister and even Tyler Posey.

Actress Gina Rodriguez took to the social media to express her excitement and wrote, “Very excited for this project. And feeling really blessed the Latino community has a princess for our little ladies all over the globe!”

It is being said that the Latin Grammy Award winner Gaby Moreno will lend her voice to its theme song and will also voice a guest role. (ANI)
