Division of Kareem Nagar against public opinion not tolerable: Round Table Conference

Hyderabad: Mr. KCR has planned to divide Kareem Nagar District to fulfill his personal interest which is not a democratic step. If Kareem Nagar is divided against the public opinion, it won’t be tolerated. These thoughts were expressed by the leaders of TDP, BJP, CPI and Yuva Jana Morcha Sangham during a Round Table Conference held in Kareem Nagar yesterday. Convener of the District Committee, Mr. K. Venugopal presided over the Round Table Conference. Vice President of BJP, Mr. G. Ram Krishna Reddy, District Secretary of CPI, Mr. Komat Reddy Ramgopal Reddy while addressing the meeting heavily criticized KCR that he is making attempt to elevate Sirsilla to the status of a district which is the Assembly constituency of his son, Mr. KTR. He suggested that Jagtial should be made a district and other places should not be disturbed. He expressed his wrath on the decision to include Manthany in Bhupalpalli, Huzurabad in Warangal and Husnabad in Siddipet. He said that if Kareem Nagar is divided without taking into consideration its geographical boundaries, it won’t be accepted.

Mr. K. Venugopal Rao, Convener of Kareem Nagar Security Committee told that Kareem Nagar has been the center of all the revolutionary movements. It has holy places, temples, rivers and rich mineral resources. It should therefore be the second capital of the State. There should be a network of Assembly, High Court and IT Hub in Kareem Nagar. Former MP, Poonam Prabhakar, District President of TDP, Mr. Ramana Rao in their addresses expressed their anger against the decisions of the Govt. The meeting was attended by the leaders of CPI, BJP and other political parties.
