Dr. Kauser Usman receives Highest medical fellowship globally

LUCKNOW: Dr Kausar Usman of Lucknow received Fellowship Award FACP (Fellow of American College of Physicians) at San Diego, California. Fellowship and Mastership in American College of Physicians (ACP) are the organization’s way of noting outstanding achievement in internal medicine. Fellows are recommended by their peers, endorsed by their local chapter leadership, and reviewed by a national credentials subcommittee. With 148,000 members, ACP is the largest medical-specialty organization and second-largest physician group in the United States.

Earlier, in 2016 Dr Kauser Usman became the first Muslim Professor in medicine department of 105 year old King George’s Medical University, Lucknow. He has special interest in Diabetes, Hypertension, Preventive Cardiology, Geriatric Medicine and other life style diseases.

Earlier, he has served at reputed medical institution like Indraprasth Apollo Hospital, New Delhi before joining as a teaching faculty at King George’s Medical University where years of experience in the same institution have elevated him to the position of Professor in Medicine. His remarkable achievement of the ‘Best Teacher’ title on Teacher’s Day on two occasions bears testimony to his exceptional teaching skills.

With a very strong research background, Dr. Usman has played an active role in many investigative studies at a national and global level. He has provided numerous articles to various national and international publications. He also has held significant posts in selection committees and other professional medical bodies of which he is a life member. Dr. Usman has shared his immense knowledge through lectures delivered on a host of topics ranging from Diabetes, Hypertension to other life style diseases. He regularly attends medical conferences in India and Abroad thus keeps himself abreast of the latest medical developments.

Dr. Usman believes in educating and creating awareness among the masses on various lifestyle diseases that have made a strong presence in our society for which he has shared relevant information on radio and television programs.
