Hyderabad: Mr. Waheed Ahmed, Advocate, member of Telangana Wakf Board condemned the allegations made by BJP leader, Krishnasagar Rao against Dy. CM of Telangana, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali in Miyanpur land scam. He said that sub-registrar of Kukatpally had deliberately registered these lands. The official was suspended and a case was registered in police station.
He further told that it is not appropriate to fix the responsibility on the minister for the mistake committed by sub-ordinate officials. Mr. Mahmood Ali is ready to face any inquiry. CM took a serious note of it and entrusted the investigation to CBI as a result of which, transfers of sub-registrars took place in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts.
Mr. Waheed Ahmed expressed regret that an honest man like Mr. Mahmood Ali has been targeted and said that it is not a healthy sign in political system. He also said that the parents of Mahmood Ali had advised him to earn money through permitted sources only and he is practicing it. He joined politics not to earn money but only to serve people. Keeping in mind his honest attitude, Mr. KCR appointed him as Dy. CM.
He further said that BJP and TDP are the two sides of the same coin. They are bewildered on the popularity of TRS. He appealed to the people not to be carried away by such rumours.
