Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Muhammad Mahmood Ali, today called on Member Parliament and PDP President, Mahbooba Mufti, at her residence and conveyed condolence on the demise of her father and Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had sent Mohammed Mahmood Ali as representative of Telangana government to convey his condolences on the demise of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed.
Mr. Mahmood Ali arrived at Srinagar on Friday morning and met Mahbooba Mufti. He told that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had expressed grief over the demise of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and declared the death of Sayeed as personal loss for him and recalled that Sayeed had extended support to statehood movement. Mahbooba Mufti had also attended Telangana Garjana held in Warangal.
Deputy Chief Minister also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members on CM’s behalf and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.
On the occasion Mohammed Ali also met other leaders of PDP besides his Kashmiri counterpart Nirmal Singh.
