Dy CM strives for accommodation for Hajj pilgrims in Rubat

Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali will visit Saudi Arabia next month to ensure better facilities in Rubat, Makkah Mukarrama for Hajj pilgrims of Telangana. He will meet caretaker of Rubat and Saudi authorities and will recommend for accommodation facility to more pilgrims in Rubat during Hajj 2016.

Deputy Chief Minister told that free food and accommodation was provided to 600 pilgrims last year. On the request of Telangana government, Rubat caretaker Husain Mohammed Al-Shareef had arranged accommodation of 600 pilgrims by taking 2 buildings on rent in addition to Rubat building.

The present capacity of Rubat is 230 pilgrims. This year deputy Chief Minister will request Nazir (caretaker) Rubat to provide boarding and lodging facility to 1000 pilgrims during Hajj 2016.
