EAMCET and TET postponed – CM irritated on threats by private colleges

Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana has postponed EAMCET and TET due to the threat by private college managements for not sparing the buildings for conducting these tests. These colleges are protesting against the raids by JNTU officials and vigilance personnel.

Mr. KCR told that Govt. is not going to yield against the pressure of Private College managements and said that raids would continue in which police officials will also participate. He assured the students and their parents that Govt. would take appropriate steps.

It may be noted that nearly 2.5 lakh students had registered for EAMCET. Meanwhile, Supreme Court granted permission to conduct NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) for admission into MBBS and BDS courses. This test would be conducted in two stages for the academic year 2016-17.
