Kolkata: Redressal of complaints pertaining to the media monitoring cell will have to be taken care of within two hours and the action taken reports made accessible to the complainants, an Election Commission official said on Tuesday.
“They will have to be disposed of within two hours and the action taken reports will be shown to the respective media houses,” an EC official said here following a video conference with the full bench of the Election Commission of India.
In addition, district officials have been instructed to maintain logbooks of movement of central forces at polling stations and submit the records to the poll watchdog, the official said.
