Educated youth of Waqf Board terminated from temporary employment

Minority institutions have become centre of nepotism. After the formation of Telangana, government had put a ban on recruitment on contract basis but it seems that the Minority Welfare institutions are exempted from these orders.

Notwithstanding the government orders appointment of contract workers is continued in the minority institutions. On the recommendation of some important personalities present in the government some appointments were made recently. Interestingly on the pretext of government orders more 20 workers of Waqf Board were terminated and all these educated youth suddenly went jobless. While on the other hand nearly 40 retired employees were temporarily appointed and they are given handsome salaries. Where as the salaries of all educated youth who were terminated was 7 to 8 thousand.

Chief Minster K Chandrasekhar Rao had expressed anger over appointment of retired employees following which Secretary Minority Welfare had sought report from Waqf Board. But he has not received the report so far.
