Meerut:An elderly couple was shot dead by unidentified attackers allegedly over old enmity today in Roha village here, police said.
Sheeshpal (62) and Santoshi (60) were fired at while they were going to their farm. They died on the spot from multiple bullet injuries, said Senior Superintendent of Police J Ravindra Gaur.
Their bodies have been sent for postmortem, he said, adding that a manhunt has been launched to nab the shooters.
