Lucknow: A 70-year-old man was shot dead while he was sleeping allegedly by some unidentified persons at Jyothri village in Mainpuri, police said today.
Mukhtar Singh was was sleeping in his field last night when some unidentified persons shot him, killing him on the spot, they said.
An FIR has been registered and investigation was underway, police said, adding no arrests have been made in this connection.
