In view of the Strike Notice served by the Telangana Electricity Trade Unions Front to proceed on Strike from June 15, Chairman & Managing Director of TSTRANSCO & TSGENCO D. Prabhakar Rao and Chairman & Managing Director of TSSPDCL and TSNPDCL have invited the TETUF representatives for negotiations on their grievances on Saturday.
The negotiations took place in a congenial and harmonious environment. The managements were very responsive and pleased to agree to some of their issues forthwith. On the issues which cannot be settled immediately, the managements and the union representatives have agreed to refer the same to a committee constituted on June 7 to take them to a logical end.
Further, it is also agreed by both of them that the issues requiring policy decisions will be taken up once again for discussion before Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy on June 14 to put a quietus to the same.
The managements have requested employees unions to withdraw the proposed strike from June 15 onwards. (INN)
