Eurozone finance chiefs to decide on bailout

London, July 11: Eurozone finance chiefs will decide on new Greek proposals if they are sufficient to secure a third bailout and prevent a possible eurozone exit.

According to the BBC, Greece’s parliament overnight backed Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’s new package.

Some of Tsipras’ MPs withheld their support in protest at austerity measures contained in the new package.

Greece’s creditors initially gave positive reaction to the plans but a bailout agreement is far from certain.

Greek creditors, the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund, believe that the plan is positive. (ANI)
