Everything is Reverse in Assembly Now: Mohammed Shabbir Ali

Expressing objection at the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for proroguing the State Legislative Assembly and Council without convening the Business Advisory Committee for minimum courtesy, Opposition Leader in the Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir shared his opinion with Government Chief Whip in Council Paturi Sudhakar Reddy here on Friday in the Assembly premises.

Shabbir Ali came to the CLP office directly after visiting Nizampet area wearing a black t-shirt. He along with Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy participated in a press meet in the Assembly media hall. Later, they had a chit chat with the media person in front of the CLP office. At that time, Government Chief Whip in Council Paturi Sudhakar Reddy came out from the TRSLP and had a chit chat with the Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy. After that he tried to leave the place. But Shabbir Ali asked Paturi to stay for some time. Paturi came to Shabbir Ali and tendered apologies saying that he didn’t see as he was in black dress.

Shabbir asked Paturi that it was not proper to the TRS government to prorogue the both houses without informing opposition parties. He recalled his experience saying that he became Minister in 1989. “I went to meet the Chief Minister Marri Chenna Reddy wearing white and blue jean point. Chenna Reddy took me class saying that the Assembly is a temple and we have to have great respect towards it. You should come to the Assembly preparing well to face the questions in the House. I used to come to the Assembly with a fear every day. Chenna Reddy also asked me not to speak false hood as a Minister”, he recalled and said that in present days the Ministers were coming to the House by preparing themselves as to how to speak falsehood in the House. “Everything is reverse now”, he said.

Paturi said that everything will settle down as the government formed just two and half years ago and left the place. (NSS)
