Ex-MP Kesipalli Ganga reddy Passes Away

Nizamabad former MP Kesipalli Ganga Reddy, passed away at his residence here on Monday morning. He was 90.

 

The departed leader worked as Nizamabad MP thrice and once as an MLA. Ganga Reddy entered tenth Lok Sabha by contesting on TDP ticket for 1991-96 term. In the subsequent election, he could not get the party ticket. Again he successfully contested on TDP ticket in the 12th Lok Sabha election. In the 1999-2004 13th Lok Sabha election, he romped home by defeating Congress party’s Shanigaram Santosh Reddy.

 

On receipt of the news, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed his deep sympathies over the death of Ganga Reddy. The CM recalled his personal association with Ganga Reddy. The CM also mentioned about the way Ganga Reddy was with him since the inception of Telangana movement. The CM has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of Ganga Reddy’s family members.

 

Minister for Agriculture Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and Nizamabad MP K Kavitha also extended condolences at the demise of Ganga Reddy. (NSS)
