Job Description:

1. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators
Quantity Estimation: Quantity estimation as per tender/goods for construction drawings and schedules during pre-tender and post tender. Accuracy of quantities
Value engineering: Work out quantities /cost of alternative proposals to reduce the quantities for value engineering. Savings in quantities
Variations : Preparation of quantity variations for additional /deleted works during project execution as required by EPC contactor Quantities for additional/deleted works
Track and monitor: Tracking and monitoring the quantities of the works before and after issuance of good for construction drawings to site within budgeted quantities Monitor quantities
Special projects/Initiatives: Preparation of documents for ISO certification ISO certification

Interactions with design consultants to seek clarifications on drawings.
Interactions with in-house design engineers to get clarification on drawings
Interactions with external clients/Independent Engineer for variations in quantities during project execution Interactions with tender department for finalization of pre tender BOQ
Interactions with venders /sub-contractors for getting quotations and validate the same
Interactions with commercial and contracts department during project execution
Interactions with Budget department during preparation of budgets
Interactions with site team for good for construction drawings of additional/deleted works.
