Hyderabad: Chief Executive Officer Telangana Waqf Board Mohammed Asadullah’s term will be extended after the approval of Revenue Department. After the clearance of file by Incharge Revenue Department Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Minority Welfare Department will issue orders in this connection.
It must be noted that Asadullah’s term expired on October 24; however the government has decided to retain his services to improve the performance of Waqf Board. Mohammed Asadullah met Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel on Tuesday. Secretary advised him to continue his services as Chief Executive Officer and said formal orders will be issued soon. Several files are pending with Waqf Board due to delay in issuing the orders.
