New Delhi : Social networking giant Facebook has built an AI(Artificial Intelligence) system that can read texts and posts like a human.
The new computer can read through several thousand posts per second, in more than 20 languages, the independent reports.
“Understanding the various ways text is used on Facebook can help us improve people’s experiences with our products, whether we’re surfacing more of the content that people want to see or filtering out undesirable content like spam,” the Facebook wrote in a blogpost.
The tool is initially being tested in Facebook Messenger, and is being used to help the site understand certain searches.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is the intelligence exhibited by machines. In computer science, an ideal ‘intelligent’ machine is a flexible rational agent that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chance of success at an arbitrary goal. (ANI)
