Fake certificate racket busted, one held

The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone Team on Saturday apprehended one Abdus Sattar Osman Aljahwari, who was allegedly preparing fake Educational certificates of SSC, Intermediate, Degree, Engineering, of various universities i.e., Osmania, JNTU, SSC, Board of Intermediate etc and providing them to the needy customers by collecting huge money from them at Pr.No.11-6-688, Red Hills, Nampally. Seized Fake Educational Certificates i.e., SSC, Intermediate, Degree etc., of OU & JNTU, (1) Computer system, (1) Printer cum Scanner and other incriminating material from his possession.    

Accused Abdus Sattar Osman Aljahwari S/o late Osman Galib Aljahwari, aged 46 yrs, a Graphic Designer, R/o H.No.11-6-688, Red Hills, Nampally, was born and brought up in Hyderabad. He studied up to Intermediate. After completion of his Intermediate studies, he completed Graphic Designing course in Hyderabad. In between the year 1995 to 2008, he went to Saudi Arabia on Job purpose. In month of December, 2008 he returned to Hyderabad and started doing CCTV installation business. 

Police said while he was working as Graphic Designer, he learnt the process of preparing of fake educational certificates of different universities. As his earnings are not sufficient to meet his family expenses he hatched a plan to prepare fake educational certificates i.e. SSC, Intermediate, Degree etc of various universities i.e. Osmania & JNTU etc., and preparing fake educational certificates of different universities in his residence and providing them to the needy customers. He is charging Rs.15,000 for SSC certificates, Rs.20,000 for Intermediate certificate,  Rs.20,000 for Degree certificate and Rs 25,000 for PG certificate.

Also the accused used to present at Regional Passport Office, Secunderabad as agent and collect the data of persons who were rejected for ECNR Passports. “If a person, who is having ECNR on Passport he is eligible to go abroad on Employment VISA, if a person who is not having ECNR on Passport he is not eligible to go abroad on Employment VISA. For ECNR the candidate should have SSC certificate”. As such the accused used to collect the data of persons who required ECNR Passports. For their ECNR Passports the accused made agreement an amount of Rs.15,000/- to Rs.20,000/- with needy persons as a package. For which he used to prepare SSC Certificate, Birth Certificates, Voter ID Cards, Aadhar Cards etc., and apply Passport slot bookings to them.  So far he has sold fake educational certificates nearly 100 persons.

           

The accused along with seized property was handed over to SHO, Nampally PS for further action.

           

The arrest was made under the supervision of B. Limba Reddy, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, L. Raja Venkat Reddy, Inspector of Police with the assistance of SIs Sri M.Prabhakar Reddy, Sri P.Mallikarjun, Sri V.Kishore, Sri L.Bhaskar Reddy and the staff of West Zone Team, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad.
