Fake medical certificate racket busted, 3 held

Hyderabad:The police have a three person arrested for allegedly issuing fake certificates in the name of Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM) was arrested by Narayanguda police on Tusrsday.The certificates vaccination for needy person going foreign countries especially United States, South Africa and UAE.

During the investigation, a businessman D. Srinivas, who earlier worked as employee at IPM for 2 years , got fake rubber stamps and certificates made by S. Prakash, a stamp vendor from Chikkadpally, and P. Anand, a printing press worker of Barkatpura, accoding to city police.

DCP (Central) V. B. Kamalasan Reddy said, “Srinivas collected between Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 2,000 for a certificate. We suspect all those who bought the fake certificates to travel abroad and take necessary action.”
