Family forced to leave cinema hall after refusing to stand up for National anthem

A video of family being forced to leave a theater goes viral on social Media and YouTube.

According to reports a family of four members forced to leave cinema hall after they refuses to stand up when the national anthem was played just before the movie’s screening.

The video shows some people arguing with the man who refused to stand. Some reports said the incident took place in a cinema hall in Kurla, Mumbai.

“India mein rahke … national anthem baj rha…bolta main khada nahi hounga (You live in India and when the national anthem is playing you say you won’t stand up?),” a man, who was sitting in front of the family, is heard saying.

Initially, the man refused to stand up saying that he will not stand, but later changed his statement saying that he had a problem with his knee.

“You just leave the theatre. Come … just leave,” another one is heard saying. “Sir, main aapko achche se bol rha…please chale jayie,” someone from the crowd is heard telling the man”, reports India Today.

After heated argument, the family finally leave the cinema hall while the audience celebrated with a round of applause. The video has been shared thousands of times claiming it was a Muslim family.
