Fareeduddin takes oath as MLC, pledges to join hands with CM for Golden Telangana

Hyderabad: TRS leader Mohammed Fareeduddin was sworn in as Member of Telangana State Legislative Council on Thursday. Legislative Council Chairman Swami Goud administered the oath of office to him. Mohammed Fareeduddin, who was declared elected as an MLC unanimously under the MLAs quota last week, took oath in Urdu.

Council Deputy Chairman Nethi Vidyasagar, Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali, Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy, Legislative Affairs Minister T. Harish Rao and other TRS leaders were present on the occasion.

It may be recalled that the MLC seat fell vacant after Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao tendered his resignation to his MLC seat, post his election as MLA in the Palair by-elections earlier this year.

Speaking to press persons Mr. Fareeduddin said that he is thankful to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and also to Irrigation minister Harish Rao for his role in nominating him as MLC. He said he will join the struggle of CM in the making of Golden Telangana.
