Hyderabad: MLC Farooq Hussain has donated his one month salary Rs.1lakh cheque to the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for the sake of Missiona Kakathiya Scheme.
On Tuesday during tea break, Hussain met the Chief Minister at the latter’s chamber. Hussain handed over the cheque along with letter addressed to KCR. In the letter, Hussain praised the KCR saying that he was the only Chief Minister in the country taken up revival of chain tanks constructed during Nizam rule. The revival of tanks in Telangana state will stand as a model in the nation and KCR was the first Chief Minister taken up the revival of tanks after the freedom to the nation. He said that he was feeling happy while having native of Medak district. (NSS)
