Quetta: Jan Muhammad, who is the father of thirty-five children in Pakistan’s Quetta city of Balochistan province, has said that his target is to have 100 kids.
Muhammad is the father of twenty-one daughters and fourteen sons from his three wives.
“My target is 100 children,” Dawn quoted him as saying.
Muhammad, who is a doctor and trader by profession, is able to manage his family as of now.
“Thank God, I am able to manage the growing expenditures of my family. I spend about Rs100, 000 a month on family expenditures,” he said.
The family of 39 lives in a mud-brick house located in a poor neighbourhood of Quetta.
Meanwhile, Muhammad’s eldest daughter Shagufta Nasreen is happy with the arrival of the new siblings.
“We, the girls have outnumbered the boys,” Nasreen said.
The ages of Muhammad’s children range from one-week-old to almost 16-years-old.
His family is a happy one despite its increasing size and challenges the perception that less family members lead to a happy life .(ANI)
