Mangaluru: Setting a highest example before communalists in the society, 32-year-old Mohammad Fayaz sacrificed his life in a bid to save Hindu fisherman after a fishing boat capsized in Arabian Sea off the coast of Ullal in Mangaluru.

On Saturday afternoon, three fishermen, Manex (45), Kumaran (30) and Chandan, all from Tamil Nadu were on-board the ill-fated boat, as per CoastalDigest news.

During its fishing expedition, the boat began to sink due to turbulent weather which made helpless fishermen to scream.

Known as a Good Samaritan in Ullal area, Fayaz, heard the fishermen’s screaming and without any delay jumped into the sea. He along with his friend Rameez assistance, managed to rescue Manex.

But unfortunately, when he jumped the second time to help another fisherman, his head hit a rock in the sea and he breathed his last at a hospital.
