Following MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s statement that Hyderabad is for Hyderabadis, sense of fear prevails among the people of Hyderabad belonging to Karnataka, Maharashtra, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and other states. They seem to be terrorized due to this situation as Shiv Sena had also started attacking the residents of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in Mumbai by giving the slogan ‘Me mumbaikar’. Recently MNS party also tried to create differences among people with such slogans.
An Imam of a masjid in Chandrayangutta who hails from Uttar Pradesh expressed surprise over the remark and said he is feeling threat to the future of his children with such type of statements. Another person belonging to a Madrasa who hails from Bihar expressed concern over the statement that Hyderabad is for Hyderabadis, and said those who consulted us before Bihar elections are now declaring us strangers.
