Jeddah: A non-Muslim Filipina house maid converted to Islam after learning that her employer withdrawn all charges against her.
As per Saudi Gazette reports, the maid named Catrina was arrested upon her return to Saudi Arabia was accused of defaming Turki Al-Jesh, her employer in newspapers in her home country.
The employer, a resident of Onaizah in the Qassim region, dropped all charges after coming to know that she admitted all her wrongdoings and wanted to embrace Islam.
The good behavior of her sponsor and his family toward her was the main reason behind her embracing Islam, despite the offnces she had committed.
“I was surprised to see such magnanimity and tolerance from this family even after I had done so many things against the family in order to harm its reputation,” she added.
Catrina now called as Jourie pronounce the Shahada ( that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Prophet of Allah and is observing Ramadan fasts with Al-Jesh’s family.
