Fire broke out in the dumping yard located in the Indira Park here today. Fire fighters reached the spot on receipt of information, and extinguished the fire.
Garbage was piled up in the Municipal dumping yard in the backside of the park. The dried garbage caught fire. It is suspected that some unknown persons might have thrown cigarette buts in to the garbage and this resulted in fire. (NSS)
