Fire broke out at RTA Office at Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) Colony in the early hours of Tuesday due to electric short-circuit and reduced the records, documents, an inverter battery, computers and card-printer to ashes.
Fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the flames in a two-hour operation. Due to the mishap, the office cannot function on Tuesday and Wednesday, an MVI stated in a statement. (NSS)
