Hyderabad: Secretary of Minorities Welfare Department, Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS hoisted the flag at Hajj House on the occasion of Republic Day yesterday. Officials of Wakf Board, Hajj Committee and Urdu Academy attended the function.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, he told the officials to review their functioning in order to improve it. He suggested that in the future, common programs should be organized on the occasions of National Days. He congratulated the employees of these departments.
Prof. S.A. Shukoor in his speech told that on 26th January, 1950, India became a democratic country and the constitution was promulgated. All the citizens living in this country have equal rights.
Mr. Mohammed Asadullah, CEO of Wakf Board congratulated the employees on this occasion. Present in the function were Mr. Vilayath Husain, General Manager, Minorities Finance Corporation, Ms. Hari Priya, Director, Telangana State Minorities Study Circle and the officials of Wakf Board, Urdu Academy, Hajj Committee, Minorities Finance Corporation and Minorities Study Circle.
