Flying a solo aircraft gives you a special feeling: Flying Cadet Avani Chaturvedi

Hyderabad: Flying Cadet Avani Chaturvedi from Madhya Pradesh on Saturday expressed her happiness over her selection in the Indian Air Force as country’s first woman fighter pilot. She said that before going solo in the aircraft, they have been trained by the instructors and then were examined by some examiners. She added that she is confident as flying an aircraft solo gives a special feeling. Three cadets have created history after being inducted into Indian Air Force as country’s first women fighter pilots. The three are currently undergoing Stage-II training on Kiran Intermediate Jet Trainers at Hakimpet Air Force station in Hyderabad.
