Hyderabad: Union Minister of Forests and Environment, Mr. Prakash Javdekar has convened a meeting of Forest Ministers of all the States in New Delhi today. Mr. Jogu Ramana, Forest Minister of Telangana State proceeded to New Delhi to attend this meeting. He would meet Mr. Prakash Javdekar and request him to release the funds for Telangana. It is stated that Telangana State got Rs. 142 crore from Union Ministry of Forest and Environment. Govt. of Telangana has to get Rs. 1400 crore from the Union Ministry of Forest and Environment.
It is understood that Mr. Ramana would invite Mr. Prakash Javdekar to participate in Harita Hara program scheduled to be launched by Govt. of Telangana in July.
