Former Nepal PM Bhattarai forms new party

Kathmandu : Former prime minister Baburam Bhattarai today announced the formation of a new political party Naya Shakti Nepal (New Force Nepal) under his leadership.

Bhattarai announced in the presence of his party cadres that his newly-formed party would play an effective role as an alternative political force, reports the Himalayan Times.

He also administered the oath to members of the party immediately after announcement of the establishment.

The party has claimed to have more than one lakh members from across the nation. (ANI)
