Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana State Mohammed Mahmood Ali laid the foundation of the new Out-Patient (OP) Block at Charminar Unani Shifakhana. Addressing on the occasion Mohammed Mahmood Ali said Unani medicine is old and free of side effects. Ignoring this all doctors are focussing towards allopathy however government is keen to promote Unani system of medicine and taking measures for that. A few days ago state Health minister conducted detailed inspection of Charminar hospital. On the occasion hospital administration apprised him of various problems on which he assured the administration that a high level meeting will be called in this connection soon after the month of Ramadan and measures will be taken to solve those problems.
Mahmood Ali further revealed that the government has decided to make the hospital state of art and provide maximum facilities. Construction of OP block will be complete soon, he said.
