Four held in man’s murder at Ramkote

Four suspects were arrested by Sultan Bazaar police here on Monday in connection with the murder of one Khader Pasha, 33, in the busy Ramkote area in the heart of the capital city on Sunday night.

East Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police Ravindar told mediapersons that Khader Pasha was butchered by his rivals over some business transactions. The deceased had married one Neha Fatima three years ago and divorced her due to misunderstandings, the DCP said.

When the deceased was going in a car, the assailants allegedly waylaid him at Ramkote and butchered him with hunting sickles on Sunday night at around 11 pm. He was immediately rushed to the nearby Apollo hospital, where the doctors declared he was brought dead. (NSS)
