Fwd: RSS distances itself from ‘mouthpiece’ Panchjanya saying “RSS never supported any incident of violence.”

BJP too expressed its sharp disapproval over its party members for their outrageous statement. The RSS distanced itself from an article published in its mouthpiece Panchjanya, saying that the Dadri lynching could not have happened without provocation from the victim and that the Vedas instruct the killing of those “Sinners” who slaughter cows.

Criticizing the writers who have returned their awards in the wake of the incident in Dadri where a man was lynched over beef rumors. The Hindi writer Tufail Chaturvedi wrote in the article “You (writers) did not see the cow slaughter by Iqlakh. You didn’t see the fact that none of the media reports on Dadri mentioned any personal enmity of anyone with Iqlakh. Dadri village has never even seen any communal tension. One could have believed Iqlakh’s death to be without reason, but then we have Newton’s Law that says every action invites an equal and opposite reaction,”

He also states that Indian Muslims were once Hindus, “Who has taught converted Indians to spit on their own culture? All Indian Muslims, including Iqlakh, were Hindus until a few generations back. How did these converts become as hateful as to turn cow killers from cow protectors?” the article said.

Manmohan Vaidya the RSS media-in-charge quickly distances himself from the article. He said the report of RSS supporting the “Dadri incident” is “blatantly false and baseless” and the organisation “never supported an incident of violence”.

Even the Panchjanya editor Hitesh Shankar also distanced himself from the piece. by saying “We don’t support any violent incident. The writer has expressed his independent views.”
