Gambling House Raided–13 Persons Held


The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task force, West Zone Team, received credible information that some persons are playing three cards gambling at Room No.303, Hotel Park Hyatt, Road No.2, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad and using the premises as common gaming house.


A Police press note said the West Zone Task Force team raided the said premises and found that 13 persons are playing Three Cards gambling by betting money which is a game of chance.

During the enquiry it came to light that, the organizer D.Gopala Krishna is running the gaming house by taking commission for each game from the players and collecting commission for each game from the players and earning money.  In this case, the police  seized  cash of Rs.4,00,900/-,  Playing cards, one  Lenovo Laptop, one  slip which was used to write betting amounts and 17 Cell phones from the possession of accused persons.

The arrested accused persons along with seized material were handed over to the SHO, Banjara Hills Police Station for necessary action. The raid was made under the supervision of B.Limba Reddy, Dy.Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, by L.Raja Venkat Reddy, Inspector of Police with the assistance of SIs  M.Prabhakar Reddy, P.Mallikarjun,  V.Kishore, L.Bhaskar Reddy and the Staff of West Zone Team, Commissioner’s Task Force.
