New Delhi: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and CPI national secretary D Raja today met in Parliament and discussed the current political situation in the country.
“We discussed the current political situation and how to fight communal, fascist threats. We tried to understand each other’s assessment of the situation during the informal talk,” Raja said.
The meeting between the two leaders came a day after Gandhi reached out to CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury to chart out a strategy about moving amendments to four Bills related to Goods and Services Tax.
