Gangster Nayeem’s aide, Ayub’s gang member arrested through geo-tagging

Hyderabad: City police is using modern technology to make Hyderabad a ‘safe and secure’ city. Using for the first time, ‘Geo Tagging’ technology, South Zone police has arrested as many as 43 criminals including aides of notorious gangster Bhongir Nayeem and Rowdy Sheeter Ayub Khan.

A police team comprising of 200 cops under the supervision of DCP South Zone Mr. V Satya Narayana conducted cordon search operation under Falaknuma division and Kalapathar police station limits. Police arrested Gangster Nayeem’s aide Yousuf Khan alias Border Yousuf who was the rowdy sheeter of Bhawani Nagar police station and was involved in the murder of K Ramulu.

Police also arrested another rowdy sheeter Mohammed Asad associated with Ayub’s gang and Habeeb Quraishi.

The geo-tagging app enables police to view finger prints, educational qualifications, photographs, family details as well as associates. The implementation of this technology enables cops to have accurately access on the criminal; it also saves the time and manpower. It can be accessed by all the Police personal provided with tabs and identification of criminals is made easier as their photos and all details are easily available.
