GHMC Commissioner Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy on Tuesday inspected the proposed sites in the city for construction of double bed room houses.
The GHMC Commissioner visited G.Y. Reddy Compouund Basti and Hammali Basti in Sanathanagar Assembly segment; Sangam Talab Tanda in Uppal constitutency; Nacharamma Basti in LB Nagar constituency and Puligadsila Basti of Malakpet constituency. He interacted with the local residents and appealed them to cooperate in construction of 2BHK houses in their areas. He informed that 180 units of 2BHK flats will be constructed in GY Reddy Compound Basti, 360 units in Hammali Basti and 176 units in Sangam Talab Basti.
Dr. Janardhan Reddy said that the GHMC would construct three-floor buildings on the proposed sites.
Chief Engineer Suresh Kumar, Superintending Engineer (Housing) Shiva Kumar and other senior officials were also present. (INN)
