Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner GHMC has called on Vinod Kumar Yadav General Manager South Central Railway and discussed about vacant lands of Railway properties for the utilization for the construct of Double Bed Room houses. In response, the General Manager said that to this effect a letter has been sent to the Railway Board for seeking necessary instructions to initiate further action.
The Commissioner GHMC has requested the General Manager to expedite the issue at the earliest so as to take-up the project of 2 BHK Scheme. The Commissioner further stated that the lands situated at Mettuguda, Addagutta Slum, Chilkalguda Railway station etc where proposals have already been sent to provide land for the said project.
In this context, the General Manager South Central Railway said that the follow up action is being taken with the New Delhi Railway officials to consider the case to imitate the action. (NSS)
