GHMC would conduct a survey of nalas and tanks land to determine the extent of encroachment under its jurisdiction.
The survey would be conducted soon on about 3900 km long main nalas. To begin this work, a training program was launched in which revenue, survey settlement department, GHMC engineering and town planning employees are participating.
GHMC mayor B Rammohan, commissioner B Janardhan Reddy, Additional commissioner Surendra Mohan, Telangana Remote, Space application wing director Srinvias Reddy and others also attended the training program.
There were 102 main nalas flowing through in 220 km long in the limits of Rangareddy district and 71 main nalas flowing throw in 169 km long.
According Kirloskar committee and other agencies survey map there were 28,800 Un-authorized constructions were come up after encroachment of nalas and tanks lands. (NSS)
