Hyderabad: On the representation of Telangana Waqf Board, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation officials demolished illegal construction on the land of Dargah Hazrat Durvesh Mohiuddin Quadri Waqf land. Unauthorised construction began after doing plotting on the land.
Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Asadullah sent Executive Officer Iftekhar Musharraf for inspection. He mentioned illegal occupation and construction on the land. On the basis of the report complaint was lodged with the police and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
Chief Executive Officer took special interest, acted promptly and demolished unauthorised constructions.
It must be noted that 1,46,710 sqyds Waqf land is attached to the Dargah, most of which has been illegally occupied. Waqf mafia is eyeing upon the 3 acre open land but Waqf Board plans to construct a compound wall to protect the land.
