Hyderabad: Mr. N. Narasimha Reddy, Home Minister of Telangana State told that GHMC elections would be held after Sankranti festival. It may be noted that Sankranti is a major festival for the people of Andhra. Many Andhra people living in Hyderabad go to their native places to celebrate this festival. Municipal elections would be held after the festival in order to facilitate these persons to exercise their votes.
